As the Director of Clinical Operations and Outreach, you will step into a visionary leadership role shaping the future of advanced homecare in the Ottawa-Champlain region. What you will be doing:

Strategic Clinical Development & Oversight

● Architect visionary care models: Adapt, build, and launch specialized, evidence-based clinical programs, setting a new benchmark for home-based care.

● Elevate the standard of care: Lead workforce education initiatives, empowering our caregivers and nursing staff to execute complex clinical protocols with absolute confidence and precision.

● Empower our caregivers: Provide direct, constructive input into the performance management and ongoing development of caregiver staff.

● Direct team management: Provide comprehensive supervision and leadership to RPNs, PSWs and other care providers, ensuring operational alignment and clinical excellence.

● Policy & compliance authorship: Lead the writing, implementation, and oversight of clinical policies to ensure full adherence to regulatory requirements.

● Ensure clinical excellence: Conduct rigorous audits to maintain absolute clinical compliance with internal standards and provincial regulations.

Healthcare Partnerships & Ecosystem Navigation

● Forge medical alliances: Serve as our clinical ambassador,



communicating peer-to-peer with clinicians to coordinate advanced patient care and build high-trust relationships.

● Master the provincial landscape: Leverage your deep, working knowledge of Ontario Health and/or Ontario Health atHome to fluidly navigate referral pathways and align our services with regional public health objectives.

● Drive data-informed strategy: Analyze clinical data to stay acutely informed of key industry statistics, trends, and outcomes, using this intelligence to refine our care models.

Market Leadership & Community Impact

● Champion our clinical excellence: Spearhead clinical marketing efforts by presenting our advanced program capabilities to referral networks, families, and prospective clients.

● Lead with deep community purpose: Facilitate local support groups and drive outreach initiatives that firmly establish our commitment to compassionate, impact-driven care.

● Industry networking & governance: Represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events, with a focus on contributing to or serving on clinical boards.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Professional Licensure: Active registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).

● Clinical Tenure: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive clinical experience as an RN.

● Leadership Background: Minimum of two (2) years of management or clinical leadership experience within home health, community care, or a related healthcare organization.

● System Navigation & Governance: Deep working knowledge of the Ontario healthcare landscape, specifically Ontario Health and Ontario Health atHome (OHatH). Proven understanding of CNO standards and other provincial governance bodies is considered a significant asset.

● Clinical Specialization:



Extensive experience in the management of dementia and chronic diseases.

● Communication & Advocacy: Robust communication skills with a track record of public speaking in healthcare settings.

● Staff Development: Expertise in designing and delivering training programs specifically for PSW staff.

● Strategic Execution: Demonstrated track record of designing, launching, and evaluating clinical care programs, coupled with experience developing curricula and training staff.

● Executive & Community Presence: Highly comfortable presenting to clinicians and health network administrators, combined with the interpersonal skills to lead local support groups and grassroots initiatives.

● Mobility: Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for community outreach, networking events, and partner visits across the Ottawa-Champlain region.

● Basic Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification.

● Clearances: Satisfactory Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

Pay: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
