Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will support food preparation and service by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus but not required; a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
- Support food service by organizing supplies and ensuring the kitchen area remains clean and sanitary throughout shifts.
- Help with food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen floors, counters,



and workstations to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
- Assist in setting up dining areas or assisting servers during busy periods as required.

Requirements

- Prior experience in cooking, food service, or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if needed.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic are highly valued for this role.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
