Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dispatcher/Driver Manager to coordinate daily transportation operations. In this vital role, you will oversee driver schedules, manage freight logistics, and ensure seamless communication across the supply chain. Your proactive approach will keep our fleet running smoothly while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Duties

- Coordinate and schedule driver routes using transportation management systems and SyteLine software to optimize efficiency.
- Monitor freight shipments from shipping to receiving, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and warehouse teams via multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette.
- Maintain accurate data entry for shipment details, driver logs, and delivery documentation.
- Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain.
- Manage shipping & receiving activities,



ensuring compliance with safety and company policies.
- Utilize analysis skills to troubleshoot issues related to freight delays or discrepancies promptly.

Skills

- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and supply chain software such as SyteLine or AS400.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
- Data entry expertise with high typing speed and accuracy for maintaining detailed records.
- Knowledge of freight operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and logistics coordination.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data for operational improvements.
- Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers and supply chain management principles.
- Exceptional organization skills combined with clear verbal communication for effective team coordination.
