Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch calls using transportation systems, ensuring optimal routing and arrival times
- Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, maintaining excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Maintain organized records of dispatch activities, call details, and incident reports.
Experience
- Proven experience in transportation management systems, or dispatching
- Familiarity with telephone skills
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy in typing, hand writing and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems effectively
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
