Overview

Kristoff Trucking is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and motivated Dispatcher to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily trucking operations, scheduling drivers, managing equipment movements, and warehouseing operations. This position requires solid communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

- Monday to Friday with the ability to work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, as operational needs require.

Responsibilities

- Assign jobs to drivers and communicate schedules, instructions, and operational updates.
- Plan and manage the movement of containers, equipment, and materials to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Coordinate warehouse material receiving, storage, and withdrawals.
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, including loading and unloading.
- Communicate with customers, terminals, and other stakeholders regarding shipment updates and logistical issues.
- Obtain transportation permits, including oversize and overweight load permits.
- Maintain dispatch records and shipping documentation, including manifests, bills of lading, and delivery confirmations.




- Coordinate terminal appointments, gate passes, and other container movement requirements.
- Provide administrative and operational support as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.

Required

- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with reliable vehicle.
- Experience in dispatching, transportation, trucking, logistics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of trucking operations, trailer configurations, load requirements, and equipment capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, email, and data entry.
- Knowledge of transportation permitting, including oversize and overweight loads.
- Experience operating forklifts, excavators, or tractor-trailers is considered an asset.
- Ability to work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, as operational needs require.

Salary: $80,000–$93,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Pay: $80,000.00-$93,000.00 per year
