Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic entry-level individual to join our team as a Junior Dispatcher. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating transportation logistics and support efficient freight dispatching. This role requires good communication skills and the ability to handle tasks in a fast-paced workplace. Preference for bilingual candidates fluent in English and French.

Duties

- Assist with daily dispatch operations to ensure timely freight delivery.
- Use phone systems and dispatching software to communicate with drivers and clients.
- Support transportation planning and route optimization using GIS technology.
- Work with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to improve operations.
- Help monitor freight movement and resolve transit issues.
- Provide customer service by updating clients on shipment status.

Qualifications
- Prior experience is preferred, training provided.




- Basic familiarity with phone systems and data entry.
- Interest in GIS technology is a plus.
- Robust organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills
- Valuable communication skills for interactions with drivers, clients, and team members.
- Ability to manage priorities under pressure.
