Responsibilities

- Assist with the installation of drywall panels on walls and ceilings according to project specifications and blueprints
- Prepare surfaces by measuring, cutting, and fitting drywall sheets accurately
- Hold drywall in place while securing it with screws or nails, ensuring proper alignment and stability
- Support the taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing processes to achieve a smooth surface ready for painting
- Help with caulking joints and seams to ensure airtight and visually appealing finishes
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing materials and disposing of debris regularly




- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members

Qualifications

- Prior experience or familiarity with construction painting, carpentry, drywall installation or finishing is a plus but not required—training will be provided!
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and measurement techniques
- Handyman experience or general construction experience is highly valued
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role
