We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our energetic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris across construction sites and industrial locations. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will ensure efficient deliveries and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport construction materials, debris, and other freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels to ensure optimal performance.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring secure handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with site managers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any operational issues.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when minor mechanical issues arise to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working workplace.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating dump trucks in construction or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including forklifts or similar machinery.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on heavy vehicles.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours of driving and manual loading/unloading tasks.
