Colourific Coatings Ltd. (CCL) is a leading powder coating manufacturer operating two production facilities in the Greater Toronto Area. We serve customers across the construction, architectural, and industrial sectors.

Position Summary:

Colourific Coatings Ltd. is seeking a reliable, safety-focused DZ-licensed Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of products, materials, and equipment between our Mississauga and Vaughan facilities, our customers and suppliers, and other designated locations within Ontario.

This position is ideal for an experienced professional driver who takes pride in providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle, and following all applicable transportation and workplace safety requirements. Between scheduled runs, the driver supports shipping, receiving and yard operations at the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate company DZ-class truck for scheduled and on-demand deliveries and pickups within Ontario.
- Support shipping, receiving, yard moves and other warehouse duties between scheduled runs.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload products and materials in accordance with company procedures and cargo securement requirements.
- Protect finished coated product in transit using blankets, racking, dunnage and adequate separation; inspect each load for surface damage before departure and report any damage before leaving the plant.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, record the results on the daily inspection report, and report any defects or maintenance concerns immediately.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
- Verify shipping documents, delivery paperwork, and quantities at pickup and delivery locations.




- Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained truck and equipment.
- Follow all Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) requirements, the Highway Traffic Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and company policies, including hours-of-service and daily log requirements.
- Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse staff, and management.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and to move product in the yard and warehouse as required.
- Use company telematics, GPS and electronic logging equipment as directed.
- Report accidents, incidents, damaged goods, delays, or other issues promptly.

Qualifications:

- Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's licence in positive standing.
- Minimum three (3) years driving experience of heavy commercial vehicles.
- Must provide a current Driver's Abstract and Driver CVOR Abstract acceptable to the Company and its insurer, and consent to an annual review as a condition of continued employment.
- Valid forklift operator certification, or the ability to be certified within 30 days of hire (training provided).
- Must hold and maintain a valid commercial driver's medical examination certificate as required by the MTO.
- Experience with local deliveries and pickups is an asset.
- Knowledge of Ontario transportation regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to safely lift, carry and move materials weighing up to 50 lb on a repeated basis,



with occasional heavier lifts using mechanical assistance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete delivery documentation accurately.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and company safety procedures.
- Experience handling finished, painted or coated product without damaging the surface is an asset.

Working Conditions:

- Local driving within Ontario, with occasional longer-distance trips as required.
- Regular loading and unloading of steel/ aluminum products and materials.
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Must be comfortable spending extended periods driving and completing physical delivery duties.
- Steel-toed safety footwear and all other required PPE must be worn at all times on plant and customer sites.

Reports to: Logistics Lead

Hours: [Monday to Friday, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.], with overtime during peak periods
