We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their emotional, social, and cognitive development. You will implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring they receive quality care and instruction.
Your ability to engage with children and communicate effectively with parents will be essential in promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience through shared resources and strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of children's activities, assessments, and attendance.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
- Support children with special education needs by adapting teaching methods as required.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently.
- Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain a conducive learning setting.
- Excellent time management skills to balance lesson planning, teaching, and administrative tasks.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are a plus for engaging with diverse families.
- Basic computer operation skills for maintaining records and utilizing educational software.
- Knowledge of special education practices to support all learners effectively.
- A passion for educating young children and fostering their love for learning through creative teaching methods.
