Montessori Children's House Academy is looking for a professional willing to commute between the three campuses (Campus 1 - 108, 2411 - 4th Street NW, Campus II - 106, 20 - Sunpark Plaza SE, Campus III - 46, 4307 - 130th Ave SE) to run the French Specialist program.

We are looking for a Child Development Professional who is looking for a new and wonderful challenge and experience with a reputable Montessori organization.

The individual is willing to obtain their Montessori foundation from an organization of MCHA's choice. The individual will have experience in a classroom teaching young children a second language and has a passion to work with children 19 months up to 6 years of age.

We are looking for the candidate who is fluent in French, possesses professionalism, strong work ethics, the willingness to make a personal investment to MCHA, Montessori, the team, and the children, a Montessori soul, and great respect for young children.





The successful candidate must be coachable, a collaborator, hard-working, and can invest in the MCHA vision.

Qualifications

Level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Educator certification in Alberta

Fluent in French

3 years classroom experience

Current First Aid certification

Current and valid Criminal Record Check

Flexibility to attend after hour functions such as team meetings, parent nights and etc

Qualifications of the Classroom Assistant:

Leadership skills

Strong programming abilities

Motivated

Self-initiating

Ability to plan through curriculum

When working with Children and in Montessori, it is more than an 8 to 5 job it is a career to be proud of. There are about 2 evenings per month such as parent education, science fair, staff meetings and etc.

Salary: $3400.00 /month plus the government top-up wage based on your Alberta certification.
