Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator at Level 2 or 3 to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities

- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Create a welcoming and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Observe and assess each child's progress, providing tailored support to meet individual needs
- Communicate regularly with families about their child's development, milestones, and any concerns
- Support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or accommodations for disabilities
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, attendance, and developmental observations




- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and improve classroom practices

Skills

- Robust command of English; proficiency in French or bilingual skills is a plus
- Experience working with children in early childhood settings or classroom environments
- Knowledge of childcare principles, early childhood education standards, and child development theories
- Ability to work effectively with children who have disabilities or special needs
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- Proficient in computer operation and record-keeping software for documentation purposes
- Demonstrated organizational skills and time management to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and positive classroom dynamics
- Writing skills for maintaining detailed reports and developmental assessments
