Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Group Early Childhood Music Educator to inspire young learners through engaging musical experiences. Visionary

Centre for the Performing Art has been offering early childhood music for over 30 years and has developed lesson plans and curriculum for children ages 18 months - 6 years.

Duties

- Design and deliver age-appropriate music classes that incorporate singing, movement, rhythm exercises, music literacy and instrument play
- Foster an inclusive workplace that supports children of diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers,



and team members to support each child's individual growth and learning goals
- Use effective communication skills to engage children, encourage participation, and promote positive social interactions

Experience

- Piano or Vocal Training
- Prior experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings is essential
- Experience teaching or facilitating music classes for early learners is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively connect with children, parents, and colleagues
- Proven organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently
