Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Project Co-ordinator to join our Electrical Projects team. In this vital role, you will assist the project team in coordination, and execution of electrical projects from inception to completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse electrical infrastructure projects, collaborating closely with suppliers, and engineers, in preparing shop drawings, following up on approvals, working with the estimating team to follow up on projects quoted. Your solid organizational skills and technical knowledge in Electrical ICI projects will be key in managing schedules, resources, and documentation effectively.

Please note : only applicants having Electrical qualifications and experience in working on Electrical ICI projects will be considered for this position.

Duties

- Coordinate electrical project activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications
- Review and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to facilitate accurate implementation
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for scheduling, tracking progress, and resource allocation
- Prepare detailed construction estimates using AccuBid to support project budgeting
- Manage project documentation including schematics, bluebeam markups, for seamless communication among teams




- Monitor project progress through regular site visits and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly
- Assist in procurement processes by reviewing bids, managing purchase orders, and tracking delivery schedules
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout all phases of the project
- Collaborate with civil engineers and other stakeholders to ensure integration of electrical systems within broader construction plans

Requirements

- Proven experience in electrical ICI projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with Bluebeam.
- Solid understanding of electrical estimating processes and project estimation techniques
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills for coordinating between teams, clients, and suppliers
- Construction experience in large-scale electrical or infrastructure projects is highly desirable
