Belliveau Shipyard Limited is looking for a skilled and motivated Journeyperson Electrician or 4th-Year Apprentice Electrician to join our team in Lower East Pubnico, Nova Scotia.

If you’re looking for something different from the typical electrical job, this is it. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a busy waterfront shipyard, taking on a variety of electrical projects aboard vessels and throughout our facility.

We’re a locally operated shipyard with a strong team and a workplace where no two days are exactly the same. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, variety, taking pride in their work and being part of a crew that gets things done.

What you’ll be doing:

- Performing electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on marine vessels and shipyard equipment.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and specifications.
- Diagnosing electrical issues and completing repairs efficiently and safely Installing and servicing electrical systems and components.
- Working independently as well as alongside our shipyard team on a variety of projects.
- Maintaining a safe, organized and professional work environment.

Who we’re looking for:

- Red Seal/Journeyperson Electrician or a 4th-Year Electrical Apprentice Marine electrical experience is an asset, but experienced electricians from other industries are encouraged to apply.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your work.
- Dependable,



safety-conscious and team-oriented
- Valid driver’s license
- Someone who enjoys variety, new challenges and being part of a fast-moving workplace.
