Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ELL (English Language Learner) Tutor to inspire and support students in developing their English language skills. In this role, you will create engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning needs, foster a positive and encouraging setting, and help students build confidence in their communication abilities. Your enthusiasm and expertise will empower learners to succeed academically and socially as they navigate their language journey.

Responsibilities

- Design and deliver dynamic, student-centered English language lessons that cater to varying proficiency levels
- Assess individual student needs and develop personalized learning plans to promote growth
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including interactive activities, multimedia resources, and real-life scenarios
- Track student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to motivate improvement
- Create a welcoming classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and cultural exchange
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and program coordinators to support student development




- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and lesson plans to ensure program quality

Qualifications

- Experience working with children or young learners in educational or tutoring settings
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
- Proven tutoring or teaching experience with diverse student populations
- Classroom experience or familiarity with instructional strategies for language acquisition
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students effectively
- Passion for helping others succeed and a positive, energetic attitude
