Roberts & Obradovic Law is an employment law firm representing employees across Ontario. We are hiring a full-time Employment Law Paralegal to join our team.

You'll work on employment law matters from day one, alongside our lawyers, and play a real part in keeping every file moving. This is a client-facing role — you'll be speaking with clients every day, often at difficult points in their working lives.

What You'll Do

Speak with clients daily by phone and email, from first contact through to resolution

Handle client intake and screen incoming enquiries

Manage a high volume of daily calls and emails

Support lawyers on employment law files from intake through resolution

Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and court materials

Manage deadlines, limitation periods, and file calendars

Assist with pleadings, motions, mediations, and settlement preparation

Communicate with opposing counsel and third parties in a professional manner

Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files

Conduct legal research and summarize findings as needed

Assist with trial preparation and document management

What We're Looking For





Licensed paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario preferred; we will consider strong candidates who are not yet licensed

Confident speaking with clients directly, including people going through a stressful time at work

Comfortable handling a high volume of calls and emails

Intake experience, or the confidence to take a client's first call

Strong drafting and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple files in a quick-paced environment

Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information

Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Confident working independently and as part of a team
