English360 is an online language school based in Toronto, Canada.

We primarily work with adults, predominantly in a 1:1 format. One of our key areas of focus is CELPIP preparation, so experience with this exam would be a strong asset.

While most of our students are adults, experience teaching children would also be an asset. Our students are generally self-driven, motivated, and committed to achieving their language goals.

Role Summary The position is remote and primarily requires evening availability (after 7:00 PM EST) due to high demand. Occasional availability on weekend mornings or during daytime hours would be an asset.

Required Qualification:

You must be tech-savvy, as you’ll be working extensively with an interactive educational platform. We provide access to a library of ready-made online materials, lesson templates, and built-in AI tools. Instructors must be comfortable creating and adapting lessons on the platform in accordance with the school’s methodology and quality standards.

We do not provide fully prepared lesson plans. Instructors are expected to use our standardized programs as a foundation while applying their own expertise, methodological knowledge, and teaching resources to customize lessons based on each student’s goals, needs, and timelines.

Most importantly, instructors must be able to use AI as a supporting tool - not as a replacement for professional expertise, lesson planning, or teaching responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach General ESL and prepare students for exams such as CELPIP, IELTS, and other exams as required
- Teach both 1:1 lessons and small groups of 2–6 students
- Create personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s level, goals, needs, and timeline




- Deliver engaging and interactive online lessons through our learning platform
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and progress checks, and adjust learning strategies accordingly
- Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate progress notes and student records
- Participate in team communication, meetings, and continuous professional development

Qualifications and Requirements

- RELIABILITY (last minute cancellations of the lessons are not tolerated)
- Reliable computer, good quality camera, high-speed internet, and quality headset/microphone, good lighting
- Fluent in English with transparent, articulate pronunciation
- Strong knowledge of English grammar
- Proficiency with AI and online tools (e.g., Google Docs, PowerPoint Online etc).
- Ability to teach using a communicative approach
- Experienced in teaching ESL and exam prep (CELPIP/IELTS preferred)
- Ability to create personalised study programs based on student level, needs and interests
- Experience working with students across different proficiency levels
- Organized and able to manage teaching responsibilities in a team and independently
- Fluency in Russian and/or Ukrainian is an asset, as many of our students are Russian- or Ukrainian-speaking
- Classes are recorded for feedback, student monitoring, and quality control

Additional Information

- Probation period: 3 months (may be shortened based on performance and student feedback)
- Teaching load will increase gradually during the first month
- Instructors must deliver well-prepared lessons and uphold our standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
