About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic English Mentor to join our learning platform and help learners strengthen their English communication skills for academic, skilled, and everyday communication.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about mentoring, comfortable delivering online sessions, and able to create a positive and practical learning experience for learners from different backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver interactive online English mentoring sessions focused on practical communication.
- Help learners build confidence in everyday conversations and professional interactions.
- Guide learners in improving fluency, pronunciation, sentence formation, grammar, and vocabulary.
- Conduct speaking activities, discussions, role plays, and real-life communication exercises.
- Help learners develop professional communication skills for meetings, presentations, networking, and workplace interactions.
- Identify individual learning gaps and provide targeted guidance to improve language skills.
- Develop engaging lesson plans and activities according to different learner proficiency levels.
- Provide constructive feedback on learners’ speaking, writing, pronunciation, and overall communication.
- Introduce learners to practical communication scenarios they may encounter in academic and professional environments.
- Encourage learners to participate actively and become more confident in expressing their ideas in English.
- Prepare practice materials, assignments, conversation exercises, and assessments.
- Monitor learner engagement and progress through the learning platform.
- Provide recommendations and learning strategies based on individual learner performance.
- Support learners in improving their email writing, presentation skills,



professional conversations, and workplace vocabulary.
- Maintain a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for learners from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Use digital tools and online learning resources to make sessions engaging and interactive.
- Contribute ideas for improving English learning content, activities, and learner engagement.
- Collaborate with the platform team to support a smooth and effective learner experience.

What We’re Looking For

- 4+ years of experience in English teaching, training, mentoring, or language education.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience delivering online English classes or mentoring sessions.
- Ability to work with learners at different English proficiency levels.
- Strong understanding of practical and professional English communication.
- Comfortable using online learning platforms and digital teaching tools.
- A learner-focused and supportive approach to mentoring.
- Experience working with international or multicultural learners is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Degree or certification in English, Education, Linguistics, Communication, or a related field.
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or another relevant English teaching certification.
- Experience in Business English, Workplace English, or Communication Skills training.
- Experience mentoring adult learners, students, or working professionals.
