Business Applications Analyst

Overview

Seeking an experienced Business Applications Analyst to support and enhance enterprise Microsoft business applications. This role is responsible for the administration, optimization, integration, and ongoing support of Dynamics 365 Business Central and related Microsoft technologies. The position works closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues, improve processes, and deliver system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

- Support, configure, and optimize Dynamics 365 Business Central.

- Manage integrations between Business Central and other business systems.

- Gather and document business and technical requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and service requests.

- Design, build, and deploy system enhancements, workflows, reports, and automations.

- Coordinate software releases, testing, upgrades, and maintenance activities.

- Provide user training, documentation, and operational support.

- Maintain data integrity, system security, and application performance.

- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver business solutions.





Technical Requirements

Required

- 5+ years of Business Analyst or Application Support experience.

- 3+ years supporting

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

.

- Experience with:

- Dynamics 365 Business Central

- Dynamics CRM / Customer Engagement

- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)

- SharePoint

- Microsoft 365

- Azure

- Power BI

- Strong understanding of:

- Business Central integrations and APIs

- Application lifecycle management

- User acceptance testing (UAT)

- Release management

- IT service management processes

- Development experience with:

- AL

- C/AL

- Experience using:

- Azure DevOps

- Agile delivery methodologies

- Solid troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

- Microsoft Dynamics Business Central certification.

- ITIL certification.

- Experience with budgeting, planning, or financial reporting platforms.

- Knowledge of accounting and financial business processes.
