The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for civil construction projects and supporting the bidding process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects

- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project scope

- Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop competitive bids

- Use Bluebeam and Procore to support estimating and project-related activities

- Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors

- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing

- Assist with project management activities to ensure estimates align with project requirements

- Maintain accurate and organized estimating records, documentation, and bid information

- Monitor pricing and market conditions within the civil construction industry





Qualifications & Requirements

- 3+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably in civil infrastructure

- Robust knowledge of civil construction estimating and pricing

- Proficiency with Bluebeam and Procore

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications

- Strong negotiation and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Valid driver's licence

- Willingness to travel as required

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary: $90,000-$110,000 per year
