Event Security Guard (On-Call) – Multilingual Preferred
Apex-Force Security is a licensed Ontario security company. We are building a roster of on-call event security guards for cultural, community and private events across Ontario.
We work with a wide range of communities, and many of our clients want guards who can speak with their guests in their own language.
If you speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Arabic, Tagalog, Spanish or another language besides English, we want to hear from you.
What you'll do
- Provide access control, crowd monitoring and guest assistance at events
- Greet and communicate with guests, including in your second language
- Enforce venue and client rules calmly and professionally
- Report incidents and complete a short event report
- Work with the on-site supervisor and event organizers

Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard licence (required)
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Professional appearance and a clean, dark-coloured pant and footwear for events
- Reliable transportation to event locations
- Good communication skills and a calm, courteous attitude
- Ability to stand for long periods, indoors or outdoors
- Additional languages are a strong asset. Please list them in your application
Event-based shifts are typically 4 hours or more, and some events run evenings and weekends.
