Job Summary

As an onsite manager (OSM) you would be responsible for running events at locations throughout Victoria. Working with a team of servers, bartenders and culinary, your role is to bring the event developed by our planners and the client to life. Direct and lead the team in setup, service and take down and be that go to person for the client. Full training would be provided in our systems, standards and processes. You would join a team of casual on site managers and permanent leadership.

Duties





- Review event plan with operation management and / or planner in advance to ensure full understanding of the event.
- Pick up service van/truck from Truffles HQ and load any final items required. Check packing that has already been done for accuracy.
- Drive on site (in most situations) and meet service staff at location.
- Unload and direct staff on set-up requirements ensuring quality and accuracy of work.
- Liaise with venue partner and our client throughout.
- Brief staff on the event, timelines and menu and conduct 10-minute training recap.
- Liaise with culinary as needed
- Pack van/truck after the event
- Clean up venue and food service areas so that it is immaculate
- Complete on-site manager report providing feedback for the event
- Ensure any bar paperwork has been properly completed
- Bring vehicle back to Truffles and secure any cash.

Experience

- Past hospitality experience; ideally in events or banquets
- Effective communication skills
- Serving it Right certificate
- A warm, confident and customer focused personality
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Valid driver’s license

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 20.0 per week
