Duties

- Prepare and mix doughs for a variety of bread and baked goods, adhering to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, proofers, and packaging machines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Package baked products carefully for retail display or customer orders, ensuring freshness and presentation
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredients and supplies,



notifying management of shortages or issues

Experience

- Proven experience as a bread baker or mixer in a commercial bakery
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques specific to baking and bread making
- Familiarity with bakery equipment operation and maintenance
- Experience with cake decorating is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued
- Background in the food industry with an understanding of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members or assisting with retail sales
- Prior kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes quality food handling and preparation
