Perry’s Contracting Inc. is looking for an experienced Commercial Painter to join our team for overnight painting projects in Calgary and surrounding areas.

We are seeking a reliable, skilled painter who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can work independently or as part of a team.

This position is ideal for someone who has experience working on commercial, retail, or large-scale painting projects and is comfortable working overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

- Perform commercial interior painting, including walls, doors, frames, and columns.
- Complete surface preparation, including patching, sanding, caulking, and priming.
- Apply paint and coatings according to project specifications.
- Protect floors, fixtures, and surrounding surfaces.
- Follow specified colours, finishes, and application techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures.
- Complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and General Contractors.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of qualified painting experience.
- Experience with commercial or retail painting projects.




- Knowledge of painting techniques, coatings, and surface preparation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Availability to work overnight shifts and weekends as required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Assets

- Lift certification or experience operating lifts.
- Previous retail or large-scale commercial painting experience.
- WHMIS certification.
