Master Plaster LTD is hiring an experienced Drywaller / Taper with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience. This is not an entry-level position.

Our first choice is someone who can both board and tape to a high standard. We'll also strongly consider experienced Tapers/Finishers, even without boarding experience. Machine taping experience is required, and we're looking for someone who can consistently deliver clean Level 4 and Level 5 finishes.

We're also interested in candidates with experience running a crew, or the confidence and experience to grow into a foreman role over time.

We work on residential and commercial projects across Winnipeg, including detailed, high-end finish work. This is a long-term position with real chance to grow within a company that's actively investing in its crew and its systems.

Duties

- Board and tape drywall to a complete, professional finish (preferred), or focus specifically on taping and finishing
- Apply tape and joint compound to seams, corners, and joints for a consistent Level 4 or Level 5 finish
- Operate machine taping tools for efficient, high-quality results
- Measure, cut,



and install drywall sheets and components, for candidates boarding as part of their role
- Sand and prep finished surfaces for paint or texture
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to plan material and layout
- Coordinate with crew leads and other trades to hit project timelines, or lead a crew directly if applicable
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications

Required

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on drywall and/or taping experience
- Machine taping experience
- Able to consistently deliver Level 4 and Level 5 finishes
- Reliable, able to work independently on a job site

Nice to have:
- Experience both boarding and taping
- Experience running a crew, or leadership potential to grow into a foreman role
- Red Seal or equivalent trade certification

Pay: $28.00-$36.50 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
