Experienced Framer – Structural Wood Framing

Full-time, permanent

$30–$38/hour, based on experience and ability

SL Solution Services is an Edmonton-based structural wood framing contractor specializing in commercial and multi-family projects throughout Alberta and British Columbia.

We’re looking for an experienced wood framer who can work independently & confidently, maintain good production and deliver accurate work without needing constant supervision.

This position is a good fit for someone who takes pride in their work, understands structural framing and wants steady work with opportunities to take on more responsibility over time.

What the job looks like

- Commercial and multi-family wood framing
- Walls, floors, roofs and structural framing
- Work efficiently as part of an experienced crew
- Maintain accuracy, quality and production
- Identify framing issues and communicate them with the crew leader or foreman
- Help less-experienced crew members when required
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Work independently with minimal supervision

What we're looking for

- Strong wood framing experience
- Reliable and able to maintain consistent production




- Good understanding of framing methods, tools and materials
- Able to work well as part of a crew
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Willingness to travel for selected Alberta and BC projects *OCCASIONALLY
- Leadership experience is an asset but not required
