Puddle Pools is growing — and we’re looking for an experienced Pool Technician to join our team!

This position is for someone who already knows their way around pools and wants to build their skills even further. This is NOT an entry-level pool cleaning position.

Starting wage based on experience and skill level

We’re looking for someone with at least 1 year of hands-on pool service experience who can confidently work independently and troubleshoot problems in the field.

What you’ll be doing:

- Weekly pool maintenance and water chemistry
- Pool openings, closings & seasonal service
- Equipment visual inspections and basic troubleshooting
- Green pool recovery
- Hot tub & swim spa service
- Customer communication and service documentation
- Taking photos and completing digital service reports
- Pump filter and plumbing repairs
- Assist in leak detection and basic leak repairs
- Assist in Vinyl liner repairs/replacements
- Equipment installations and replacements
- Selling further services to customers
- Representing Puddle Pool Services in the local community and networking with potential customers as needs arise
- Driving the van to and from each job
- Monday to Friday - with occasional/peak season weekend availability

CPO certification or equivalent pool-industry training is an asset. Why join Puddle Pools?

Puddle Pool Services is a professional pool service company specializing in both residential and commercial jobs in the Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and Mission Area. We’re not looking for someone who wants to spend the day doing nothing but skimming pools.

We are growing and looking for an experienced,



mechanically inclined technician who wants long-term, year round work with the opportunity to grow into advanced services like vinyl liner replacements, leak detection, and equipment installs. We're seeking energetic and friendly people who are self motivated individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy being part of a positive team culture that treats members like family, and genuinely enjoy working with pools, hot tubs, and other water features.

As you develop with us, you’ll have opportunities to work on repairs, equipment replacements, leak detection, liners, hot tubs, diagnostics and more. We want to build a team where experienced technicians can use their skills, learn new ones, and take on more responsibility. We provide the training, systems and support — but we expect our technicians to bring experience, reliability, initiative and pride in their work.

The person we’re looking for:

You don’t need to know everything.

But you do need to know pools.

If you’ve been working in the pool industry for at least a year and you’re the type of technician who sees a problem and wants to figure out why it’s happening instead of simply reporting it, we’d love to hear from you.

WHO ARE YOU?

- A high energy individual with the tendency to fall into leadership positions or roles.
- Have basic maintenance skills and expertise in pool systems,



maintenance, and repair.
- Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field (Landscaping) is preferred but not required.
- Looking for year round long term employment.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- 1+ years experience in pool service, plumbing, landscaping, or construction
- Hands on with a knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the pool services industry
- Mechanically inclined and confident using tools
- Ability to learn and operate some basic computer programs and systems
- Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
- A strong work ethic and highly dependable
- Able to do physical labour work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools
- Cell phone to run the application
- Driver's license is required. With an accident free driving record

NICE TO HAVE:

- CPO Certification
- Experience with equipment installs
- Vinyl liner experience (not required but preferred)
- Any Certification related to Pool and Spa Services

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
