We are a growing welding supply and compressed gas company based in Scarborough, serving customers throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

We supply welding gases, industrial and specialty gases, welding equipment, welding consumables, and related supplies to customers across the GTA.

As our company continues to grow, we are expanding our sales team and are looking for an experienced salesperson who can help us build new customer relationships and grow our business.

We have also recently expanded our operations and are now filling gas in-house, giving us greater control over our supply and the opportunity to provide our customers with competitive service and reliable availability.

The Chance

We are looking for a motivated, experienced salesperson who understands the welding and industrial supply market and knows how to develop business.

This is a field-based GTA sales position focused on bringing in current customers while maintaining and growing existing accounts.

The ideal candidate has existing industry contacts and understands the needs of welders, welding shops, fabricators, manufacturers, contractors, and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop recent business throughout the GTA
- Sell welding gases, compressed gases, welding supplies, equipment, consumables, and related products
- Prospect for new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with welding shops, fabricators, manufacturers, contractors, and industrial customers
- Visit customer locations to understand their requirements and identify sales opportunities
- Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing
- Follow up with leads and existing customers to close sales and increase account value




- Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services to existing customers
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Work closely with our Scarborough operations and delivery team to ensure excellent customer service

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in welding supplies, compressed gases, industrial gases, industrial supplies, or a related industry
- Knowledge of the welding and industrial gas industry
- Existing GTA customer relationships are a strong asset
- Proven ability to generate new business and close sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confident and professional when dealing with customers
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Comfortable with cold calling and face-to-face sales
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel throughout the GTA
