Horizon Exterior Solutions installs permanent LED roofline lighting on homes across Edmonton, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Leduc and Beaumont. It's built into the roofline, runs all year, and it's designed to survive an Alberta winter. We're in our busiest stretch and we need two more installers on the crew.

$19.00-$24.00 per hour depending on experience. Overtime after 8 hours. Start early October, runs through the end of December.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING

- Installing LED track systems along rooflines - ladders and lifts, residential and some commercial
- Mounting power boxes, power supplies and hardware
- Running and concealing low-voltage wire so it looks clean from the curb
- Testing the system and walking the homeowner through the app
- Job photos and notes on your phone before you leave site
- Leaving the property cleaner than you found it

WHAT YOU NEED
- Reliable transportation to our shop or the job site
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Comfortable working at height - ladders and lifts, most of the day
- Your own hand tools and work boots
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in Alberta fall weather
- Common sense and the ability to figure things out without being told twice

HELPS, BUT WE'LL TRAIN YOU Experience in roofing, siding, soffit and fascia, eavestrough or gutters, holiday and Christmas light installation, general construction, handyman work, solar, or any exterior trade. If you've worked off a ladder and used power tools, you have most of what this job needs. You do not need lighting or electrical experience - we'll teach you our system.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

- All PPE including a fall protection harness,



and the training to use it
- All materials, specialised equipment and the work vehicle
- Training on the install system
- Paid every two weeks, on time
- You'll know what job you're on the night before

STRAIGHT ABOUT THE JOB You'll be outside, on a ladder, in Edmonton, from October through December. Some days are cold and you'll still be up there. Days are typically 8-10 hours. This is a seasonal position ending December 30, with the option to extend if there's work and it's going well. Our crew is small - five or six of us - so you'll know everyone, and you'll get told to your face when something's wrong instead of finding out later.

WHERE THIS CAN GO

We're growing, and we'd rather promote someone who already knows how we work than hire a stranger. There are real paths here to Senior Installer, Crew Lead and Operations Manager, including at new locations as we expand. How people move up here is easy: on time every time, work that doesn't come back, and not having to be asked twice.
