Family School Liaison Counsellor

F.P. Walshe High School The Livingstone Range School Division invites applications for a temporary full time Family School Liaison Counsellor Position at F.P. Walshe High School located in Fort Macleod, Alberta.

The successful candidate will commit to the Division's vision of Every Student, Every Day through inclusive, collaborative, and relationship-focused activities.

Qualifications

- a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related discipline
- training and experience in counselling services for children and youth
- experience and training in providing crisis response activities
- experience working with families and community agencies
- excellent communication skills
- an understanding of educational systems
- membership with the Alberta College of Social Workers or College of Alberta Psychologists is considered an asset
