Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, providing detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted and communicated effectively
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation throughout the process
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues efficiently
- Demonstrate excellent guest service skills by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed,



supporting the team in maintaining smooth restaurant operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality or service standards

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order entry and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations to ensure safe service standards
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, cash handling, and upselling purposes
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Experience in food industry roles such as serving or kitchen support is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest services and creating welcoming atmospheres
