Job Overview

We are seeking skilled and motivated Field Division CWB Welders to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work in the field, ensuring all projects meet safety standards, technical specifications, and client expectations. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of mining projects, with a focus on welding new rock truck boxes, installing liner packages, and doing repairs on existing boxes in a shop environment with overhead cranes.

This position follows the work schedule of the mine site of which we are working at. Currently running a 7/7 shift in Northern Ontario. On-site accommodation's, fly in/fly out.

Duties

- Welding CAT 793 rock truck boxes in office to customer specifications
- Fit and weld liner kits on rock truck boxes
- Repair damaged equipment

Requirements

- Valid all position flux core certification from the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) specific to field division welding standards.




- Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding techniques in a manufacturing or construction setting.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in rigging, crane operation, and use of hand tools.
- Knowledge of power tools, plasma cutting equipment, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Good physical condition with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; strong attention to safety protocols is essential.

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 70.0 – 84.0 per week
