Field Service Technician – Job Posting

Our service technicians are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining industrial floor cleaning equipment at our customers’ facilities or at our service location. They also provide quality customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot & repair mechanical, and electrical systems and/or engines on small and large industrial floor cleaning equipment
- Complete business reporting documents (timesheets, repair orders and preventative maintenance checklists) in an adequate and timely manner.
- Accountable for complete service product knowledge
- Must act in accordance with with all company procedures, and policies
- Responsible for proper and safe use, maintenance and reporting of all company vehicles.
- Consistently present a professional image, both in appearance and condition of company equipment.
- Must have own set of hand and power tools, and responsible for maintaining and updating own supply (when needed)

Required Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledgeable and skilled in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as engines.




- Able to complete service-related documents in a accurate and timely manner
- Basic understanding and knowledge of a personal computer
- Good verbal and written skills Demonstrate a friendly and approachable attitude towards customers and coworkers consistently
- Ability to complete assigned work and schedule in a timely and effective manner Good organizational skills, able to maintain clean work-space
- Read and understand DC Circuits
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently or within a team

Required Experience:
- Likes you to work on there own car
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (advanced technical Education a plus)
- Valid driver’s licence, with clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 5 years’ experience that include troubleshooting, and repair of small and large mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Experience working directly with customers in a service-related setting.
- Must have own set of tools

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $35.00-$44.00 per hour
