Flooring Estimator – Part-Time / Full-Time

Job Type: Part-Time or Full time

Maple Leaf Flooring is looking for a reliable and professional Flooring Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will visit residential and commercial job sites, take accurate measurements, determine material requirements, and prepare estimates for flooring projects.

Responsibilities

- Visit customer homes and commercial job sites for measurements
- Accurately measure flooring areas and calculate square footage
- Determine flooring material, underlay, transitions, stairs, baseboards, and other project requirements
- Prepare accurate job estimates and material quantities
- Identify site conditions that may affect installation
- Take photos and notes during site visits
- Communicate professionally with customers, sales staff, installers, and the scheduling team
- Review project details and provide clear information before installation
- Assist with quotes and follow-ups when required

Qualifications
- Experience in flooring estimating, installation, construction, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of vinyl plank, laminate,



engineered hardwood, hardwood, carpet, tile, and other flooring products is an asset
- Strong measuring and basic math skills
- Detail-oriented and able to provide accurate estimates
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable travelling to customer job sites around Calgary
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Able to work independently and manage appointments efficiently
