Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Provide attentive guest service by answering questions about menu items, making recommendations, and upselling additional items to enhance the dining experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end




- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or setup tasks when needed, ensuring smooth restaurant operations

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication skills for effective guest interactions and teamwork
- Basic math skills for bill calculations, tips, and inventory management
- Experience with food handling, serving, and food preparation is preferred but not required
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is a plus for understanding overall restaurant operations
