Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker over 19 (due to liquor license requirements) to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences in a quick-paced cafe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and grow within the food industry, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Responsibilities

- Take and process customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards and procedures
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including basic cooking, assembling orders, and garnishing plates
- Provide friendly guest services by addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods




- Follow all food handling protocols to ensure safety and quality standards are met

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Experience with food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is desirable
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment within the food industry
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends is required
- Serve it Right Certificate will be requiried (will train)
