Responsibilities

- Supervise daily food service operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery of orders
- Lead and motivate team members to provide outstanding customer service and uphold food safety standards
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining quality and consistency in all dishes
- Manage scheduling
- Conduct interviews and assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff to build a strong, competent team
- Monitor food handling practices to ensure compliance with safety regulations and sanitation protocols
- Inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards

Skills

- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles with supervisory responsibilities




- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
- Experience with POS systems
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food industry standards including food handling, serving, and kitchen operations
- Previous experience in supervising staff during interviewing, training, and performance evaluations
- Knowledge of Retirement Home operations is a plus; barista or bartending experience is advantageous
