Duties

- Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes, dietary guidelines, and safety standards
- Serve food to residents or clients with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen and dining areas, including utensils, equipment, and surfaces
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Assist in meal planning, portioning, and food presentation to enhance the dining experience
- Manage time effectively to ensure all meals are prepared and served on schedule




- Support with general kitchen tasks such as dishwashing, inventory checks, and restocking supplies

Qualifications

- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times
- Experience with food handling equipment and kitchen tools
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
