We are looking for a Foot Care Nurse who is passionate about client care and takes pride in providing professional, detail-oriented foot care services.

The Role

As a Foot Care Nurse at Feetorium, you will provide qualified nursing foot care services to clients in a welcoming, respectful, and client-centered environment.

Responsibilities include:

- Perform comprehensive foot assessments.
- Provide professional nursing foot care, including nail and skin care.
- Safely manage thickened, fungal, involuted, or difficult-to-cut nails as appropriate within your scope of practice.
- Provide care for corns, calluses, and other common foot concerns within your professional scope.
- Identify potential foot health concerns and recommend appropriate follow-up or referral when required.
- Provide client education on foot hygiene, footwear, skin care, and preventive foot care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures and maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.
- Properly clean, disinfect, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment according to applicable standards and clinic procedures.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and other healthcare providers when appropriate.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized care to every client.

Qualifications




- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the appropriate provincial regulatory body.
- Foot care nursing education/certification or relevant specialized training.
- Experience providing nursing foot care is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of clinical care.
- Professional, reliable, compassionate, and client-focused approach.
- Current CPR/BLS certification is an asset.
- Professional liability insurance, as applicable.
