About the Position

We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our framing crew. We are hiring both experienced framing carpenters and individuals who are current to the trade and want to learn.

Our framing crew is responsible for constructing the structural framework of residential homes, including floors, walls, roofs, and other structural components. We are looking for people who take pride in their work, show up consistently, work safely, and are willing to learn and improve.

Experienced Framing Carpenter

Experienced candidates should be comfortable working independently and have a strong understanding of residential wood framing.

Responsibilities include:

- Read and interpret building plans and construction drawings
- Layout and frame floors, walls, and roofs
- Frame exterior and interior walls
- Install floor systems, beams, headers, and structural components
- Frame roof systems and install roof sheathing
- Install window and door openings
- Measure, cut, and install lumber accurately
- Work with power tools and pneumatic tools
- Identify and correct framing issues
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Work independently and as part of a framing crew
- Follow building codes, plans, and company procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Assist with training and mentoring less-experienced crew members

Experienced candidates should have:

- Previous residential framing experience
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings




- Strong knowledge of framing techniques and building practices
- Ability to accurately measure and layout work
- Ability to safely operate common construction tools
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and quality

Entry-Level / Apprentice Framer No previous framing experience is required for the right candidate. We are willing to train motivated individuals who are interested in learning residential construction and developing their skills.

Responsibilities include:

- Assist experienced framers with daily construction tasks
- Learn proper framing techniques and construction practices
- Measure, cut, and install lumber under supervision
- Assist with floor, wall, and roof framing
- Load, unload, and organize materials
- Operate basic hand and power tools as training progresses
- Follow directions and safety procedures
- Keep the job site clean and organized
- Learn to read construction plans and measurements
- Develop skills in layout, cutting, fastening, and assembly
- Work safely and effectively as part of a crew

Previous construction, landscaping, farm, or other hands-on experience is an asset, but not required.

Physical Requirements

Framing is physically demanding work. Candidates must be comfortable with:

- Lifting and carrying construction materials
- Working on ladders and elevated surfaces
- Bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Repetitive physical tasks
- Working safely around construction equipment and tools
