Great Canadian Tours is looking for an organized, motivated, and customer-focused Front Office Supervisor to lead our front office team. This is a seasonal position with potential for year-round employment for the right candidate.

Our Front Office Supervisor plays an important role in ensuring the smooth coordination of tours and rentals from the initial inquiry through to signing waivers, payments, check-in, and the completion of each guest's experience. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the front office, support and supervise our Booking Agents, and work closely with our Operations, Guide, and Shop teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The Front Office Supervisor must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a strong desire to deliver outstanding customer service. They must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position requires someone who is comfortable taking initiative, supporting a team, and ensuring company policies, procedures, and operational protocols are consistently followed.

Job Duties - Front Office Supervisor

- Front Office Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front office, ensuring reservations, customer inquiries, payments, and guest services are handled efficiently and accurately.
- Team Supervision: Supervise, support, and assist with training of front office staff, helping to ensure team members have the knowledge and resources required to perform their roles effectively.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service and assist with customer questions, concerns, complaints, and more complex situations as required.
- Guest Reservations: Oversee and assist with creating and managing accurate tour and rental bookings through multiple booking and reservation systems.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate tour and rental schedules and work closely with the Operations and Guide teams to ensure smooth day-to-day logistics.
- Customer Communication:



Ensure customers receive accurate and timely information regarding tours, rentals, equipment, requirements, policies, waivers, payments, and other pre-trip information.
- Payment Processing: Oversee payments, deposits, balances, invoicing, and other financial transactions, including end-of-day balancing and accurate record keeping.
- Inventory Management: Oversee and maintain accurate records of an extensive inventory of machines, equipment, and gear.
- Damage and Repairs: Keep track of equipment damage, repairs, and related customer charges, working closely with the Shop and Operations teams to ensure issues are properly documented and followed up.
- Tour Operator & Reseller Relationships: Maintain positive working relationships with tour operators, accommodation providers, and other resellers, ensuring bookings and communication are handled professionally.
- Products and Procedures: Maintain thorough knowledge of all job-related products, policies, procedures, and operational requirements and ensure front office staff are appropriately trained.
- Record Keeping: Ensure accurate booking, customer, inventory, and financial records are maintained and information is kept up to date.
- Teamwork and Communication: Maintain strong communication with the entire Great Canadian Tours and Full Speed Rentals team, helping to create a fun, supportive, and positive workplace.
- Problem Solving: Take initiative to identify and resolve operational or customer service issues and escalate matters to Management when appropriate.
- Other tasks:



Help out other departments and perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Experience

- Previous experience in a supervisory, leadership, customer service, tourism, hospitality, or outdoor adventure role.
- Experience in reservations, booking systems, or tour/rental operations is an asset.
- Experience with motorsports or outdoor recreation is not necessary but is an asset.

Skills:
- Strong organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace programs.
- Familiarity with booking platforms, invoicing, payment, and sales systems.
- Ability to confidently supervise, train, and support a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands while maintaining accuracy.

Work Conditions

- Regular physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting and kneeling
- Fast-paced seasonal tourism environment.
- Overtime and weekends as required.

Pay: From $24.25 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate

- Revelstoke, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
