Full-Time Staff Pharmacist

Competitive pay with yearly bonuses · Permanent, full-time · Start as soon as possible For more than 30 years, our family has run Thousand Islands Pharmacy in Gananoque, gateway to the Thousand Islands and 20 minutes from Kingston. In March 2025 we moved into a new building we designed from the ground up, with a bright dispensary and a private consultation room. Our patients know our pharmacists by name, and we'd like them to learn yours.

We're hiring a full-time pharmacist who wants to practise to full scope and is thinking long term, with room to grow into our Designated Manager position. We're a family-run independent, so there are no corporate quotas and no head office second-guessing your clinical judgment. You practise pharmacy the way your training and professional standards tell you to, and decisions about how the pharmacy runs get made right here.

What you'll do

- Check, dispense and counsel in Kroll alongside our dispensary team
- Assess and prescribe for minor ailments, and give flu, shingles and travel vaccines
- Run MedsChecks in-store and in patients' homes, and support our diabetes patients
- Oversee compliance packaging and methadone dispensing
- Over time,



take on more of running the dispensary: scheduling, inventory, compliance and the team

What you bring
- Part A registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, in good standing (if your registration is in progress, tell us where you are)
- Injection training and current CPR/First Aid
- Community pharmacy and Kroll experience are assets, not requirements
- Sound judgment, clear communication, and curiosity about how a pharmacy runs as a business
