G / DZ Driver – Equipment Delivery

About the Role

Our employer partner is looking for reliable and safety-focused G and DZ Drivers to deliver and pick up rental equipment throughout the GTA.

You will be responsible for safely loading, securing, transporting and unloading equipment while providing professional customer service and completing required vehicle and delivery documentation.

G Driver – $23–$25/hour

- Safely transport and deliver rental equipment, heating equipment and other products.
- Load, unload and properly secure equipment and materials.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections, run sheets and required paperwork.
- Check equipment for damage during pick-up and report issues.
- Provide customers with basic instructions on equipment operation when required.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
- Follow all MTO, workplace and customer safety requirements.
- Assist with pre-loading, equipment checks and other duties when not on delivery.

DZ Driver – $26–$30/hour

- Transport and deliver heavy and medium equipment safely.
- Load and unload equipment using roll-off and tilt-and-load systems.
- Assist with equipment recovery when required, including use of a winch.
- Complete daily truck inspections, run sheets and delivery documentation.
- Secure loads and ensure safe loading and unloading.
- Check equipment for damage during pick-up and report issues.
- Maintain professional customer service and communication.




- Complete pre-loading, equipment checks and vehicle maintenance duties when required.
- Maintain vehicle and worksite cleanliness.
- Follow all applicable safety, PPE and operating requirements.

Qualifications

G Driver

- Valid G-Class Driver’s Licence.
- Minimum 1 year of driving/delivery experience.
- Recent driver’s abstract.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and load up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable reversing a truck using mirrors.
- Comfortable working with equipment and in outdoor/physical environments.
- Safety-focused with strong customer service skills.

DZ Driver

- Valid DZ Driver’s Licence with a clean abstract.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial truck driving and delivery experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and load up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Forklift or heavy equipment operator certification is an asset.
- Experience with equipment delivery is an asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

For both positions: Ability to safely wear required PPE, including hard hat, steel-toed boots, high-visibility vest/uniform and safety glasses.
