Night Shift Gas Station Attendant & CashierJob Summary

We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and customer-focused Night Shift Gas Station Attendant & Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the POS system, handling cash and payments, maintaining a clean and organized store, and completing overnight cleaning and stocking duties.

This position is ideal for someone who can work independently, stay alert during overnight hours, and maintain a professional and welcoming attitude with customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Operate the POS system accurately for cash, debit, credit, and other payment methods.
- Handle cash responsibly and accurately balance the till at the end of the shift.
- Follow all store procedures for fuel sales, lottery, tobacco/vaping products, and age-restricted products.
- Assist customers with product questions and provide information about store promotions and loyalty programs.
- Monitor the fuel area and maintain a safe environment for customers and staff.
- Keep the checkout area, sales floor, washroom, and fuel area clean and organized.




- Complete overnight cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, and maintaining the washroom.
- Restock shelves, coolers, and other store areas as required.
- Check product expiry dates and maintain proper product rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized backroom and work area.
- Complete required temperature checks and other overnight store checks.
- Ensure the store remains properly stocked and ready for the morning shift.
- Answer the store phone professionally and assist customers with inquiries.
- Follow all company safety, security, and loss-prevention procedures.
- Report any maintenance, safety, security, or customer concerns to management.
- Work independently and manage time effectively during slower overnight periods.
- Complete all assigned duties before the end of the shift.

Qualifications & Skills
- Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Robust customer service and communication skills.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
