Drilltech Drilling is a fully committed, family-owned company. We’ve been drilling year-round since 2005, all throughout Ontario. Drilltech primarily works with Engineering companies to complete environmental and geotechnical projects.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Driller's helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with operating drilling equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and supporting various project needs. This role requires physical stamina, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a agile environment.

This role plays a crucial part in the successful completion of drilling operations across multiple projects, contributing to our company's reputation for quality and safety.

Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Ontario

Driver’s Licence: Valid G Class Licence required

What You'll Do

As a General Helper, you’ll work alongside our drilling crew and play an important role in keeping our jobs running safely and efficiently.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

- Assisting drillers and crew members with daily operations
- Helping set up, operate, and tear down drilling equipment
- Loading, unloading, and organizing tools and materials
- Moving equipment and supplies around job sites
- Keeping equipment and work areas clean and organized




- Assisting with basic equipment maintenance
- Following direction from drillers and supervisors
- Supporting the crew with general labour duties
- Following all company safety policies and procedures
- Working at various job sites throughout Ontario

What We're Looking For We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, safety-minded, and ready to learn.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Valid G Class Driver’s Licence — required

· Must have reliable transportation to get to shop/yard located in Newmarket each day.
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude

· Working conditions - We work all year and through all types of weather.
- Ability to perform physical labour and lift heavy materials
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Construction, drilling, excavation, or general labour experience is an asset, but not required

Please note that 10% of this position is driving and the remaining 90% is on-site manual labour. Shifts generally are Monday to Friday with a 6:00am start time; overnight, weekend and out of town work is available.
