IronRock Concrete Coatings is hiring one General Labourer to join our crew in Kelowna.

You do not need experience with epoxy, concrete coatings, or flooring. We are more interested in finding someone who is dependable, works hard, learns quickly, and takes pride in doing a good job.

If you have experience in construction, landscaping, moving, painting, flooring, concrete, renovations, warehouse work, or another physical job, that is a plus. If you do not, we can train the right person.

The Job

You will work alongside our installation crew completing residential concrete coating projects throughout Kelowna and the Okanagan. Your day may include:

- Using grinders, vacuums, and other power tools
- Preparing and cleaning concrete
- Mixing and moving materials
- Helping repair cracks and damaged concrete
- Applying concrete coating systems
- Scraping, vacuuming, masking, and cleaning
- Loading and unloading tools and materials
- Setting up and cleaning jobsites
- Keeping the truck, tools, and work area organized
- Helping the crew complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard

This is a physical, hands-on position. You will be on your feet for most of the day and regularly lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and working with tools.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Hours

This is a full time position. Work is primarily Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays depending on scheduling and weather. Our projects are local to Kelowna and the Okanagan, so you are home every night.

Pay

$21-$26/hour, depending on experience, ability, and performance. You do not need previous concrete coating experience to earn more over time. As you become more useful to the crew, learn new skills, take on more responsibility, and become capable of completing more of the installation process independently, there is room to increase your pay and move into an Installer or Lead Installer position.
