TUQ4 is a specialized contaminated soil recycling facility located near Nanticoke, Ontario. We transform complex waste streams into beneficial-use materials through advanced physical, chemical, and thermal treatment processes. As a growing, operations-focused company, we offer a hands-on environment where employees gain exposure to industrial processes, material handling systems, and heavy equipment operations.

This role is an entry point into site operations and heavy equipment environments. The General Labourer supports day-to-day processing activities while gaining direct exposure to equipment, workflows, and safety practices that underpin our operation. For individuals interested in heavy equipment, industrial operations, or skilled trades, this position provides a strong foundation for growth.

This role offers proximity to heavy equipment operations; progression into equipment operation is performance-based.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely handle, move, and transport materials and equipment across the site
- Direct on-site traffic and assist with spotting and guiding backing vehicles
- Perform general labour tasks as directed by Supervisors and Site Management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment (housekeeping), including cleaning of weigh scale areas, trailers, and site facilities
- Assist with routine site maintenance, including painting and general upkeep as required
- Operate power tools and equipment as required (training provided where applicable)
- Support soil sampling activities in accordance with site procedures (training provided)
- Operate company vehicles (pick-up truck) to transport materials, tools, and supplies to and from off-site locations as required
- Ensure proper use, tracking, and return of tools and materials from the Tool Crib
- Follow all company health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Support other site functions as required

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience in general labour, construction labour, landscaping, or industrial work is an asset




- Solid work ethic and reliability (consistent attendance is critical)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment and active industrial operations
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, hands-on work environment
- Professional communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure or emergency situations
- Comfortable working long shifts (up to 12 hours) and overtime as required
- Valid Class G driver’s licence required; must be comfortable driving a company pick-up truck for off-site errands and material pick-ups
- Reliable transportation to and from site (rural location – not transit accessible)

- Physically demanding role involving lifting, moving, and extended periods of activity
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling
- Repetitive tasks and moderate to heavy lifting
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to dust, noise, and industrial equipment

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
