General Operations Labourer – Red River Exhibition Park The Red River Exhibition Association Operations Department is accepting applications for a full-time position for General Operations Staff. The individual will play a vital role in contributing to our Association’s objective to deliver memorable events, making a significant impact on Manitoba’s Communities. Our ideal candidate brings energy, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic, along with exceptional organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Working full time from our primary grounds at Exhibition Park on the West side of Winnipeg, you will work directly with our Director of Operations and Operations Team to prepare for and execute our up coming events.

Roles and Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- General labour in maintenance of roads, grass and other infrastructure
- General labor in setting up for events, creative displays
- Operating equipment-trucks, side by sides, forklifts, skid steers, telehandlers
- Operating light trucks and equipment, hand and power tools.





Qualifications

- Valid MB Class 5 Driver’s License
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well as a member of a team and independently
- Ability to work weekends as scheduling requires
- Ability to understand and carry out job-related instructions
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
