About AI Training And Model Evaluation

AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Contributors prepare and review examples that help modern AI systems learn to produce more relevant, accurate, and useful results.

This project focuses on general-purpose AI training and model evaluation, including written feedback, response review, question answering, text generation, and reinforcement learning from human feedback. Your careful judgments will help validate and improve AI system performance.

The Generalist Role

As a Generalist contributor, you will analyze, evaluate, and annotate varied datasets used for AI system training and validation. You will work across multiple domains, apply detailed project requirements, and communicate your findings clearly.

This is an intermediate-level contractor opportunity expected to run for 3 to 6 months. Prior data labeling or annotation experience is welcome but not required, while relevant general-purpose AI training and model evaluation experience is expected.

Hourly pay range of $50 to $90 USD, with a listed rate of $70 USD per hour

What You’ll Do

You will complete precise, consistent work while following project-specific quality-assurance procedures. The role combines analytical judgment, written communication, and careful review of AI-related content and decisions.

Analyze, evaluate,



and annotate varied datasets

Review and refine model outputs for relevance and accuracy

Provide written input and feedback for AI system training

Support text generation, question answering, evaluation rating, and RLHF tasks

Solve problems across multiple domains

Follow detailed project requirements and quality-assurance procedures

Explain screening decisions clearly

Communicate findings while maintaining consistent quality standards

Requirements

Successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional written and spoken English, strong critical-thinking and analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication. You should be able to produce precise work independently and collaboratively, meet deadlines, and work comfortably in a fully remote environment.

Intermediate experience level

Relevant general-purpose AI training and model evaluation experience

Fluent English proficiency

Strong accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to discuss relevant Generalist experience

Ability to explain screening decisions clearly

Ability to follow detailed requirements and meet deadlines

Prior data labeling or annotation experience is welcome but not required

Location And Eligibility

Applicants must be based in one of the listed eligible countries and be comfortable working in English. The project is fully remote, but participation is not worldwide.
